William Anthony Gilluly Sr., 80, of Central Beach died Sept. 13th, at VNA Hospice House. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for 17 years, coming from New Jersey. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Navy. He was a member of the Power Squadron in Raritan, N.J., and a retired insurance adjuster. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mildred Gilluly of Vero Beach; daughters, Susan Zolandz of Somerville, N.J., Jane Miller of Hillsborough, N.J., and Mary Fawkes of Miramar; son, William A. Gilluly Jr. of Coral Springs; sister, Ann Preller of Long Island, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice of Indian River County, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sept. 16 with a service at 5 p.m. at the Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home, Vero Beach. |
