Elizabeth Cullum Menk, 84, a seasonal resident of John's Island, died Aug. 28th at Meridian Nursing in Shrewsbury, NJ.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was a graduate of St Elizabeth's Academy in Convent Station, NJ, and Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY.

She was a member of Spring Lake Golf Club and John's Island Clu, and received numerous awards as a member of Montclair Garden Club, Spring Lake Garden Club and Vero Beach Garden Club.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Carl Menk; daughter, Mary Cay Cancelosi, sons, Paul Menk and Carl Menk; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Elizabeth Regina Menk.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 am. Aug. 30 at St. Mark's Church in Sea Girt. Arrangements are by O'Brien Funeral Home in Wall, NJ.
