He received his M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 1985. Post worked his entire career on Wall Street, including 16 years at J.P. Morgan & Co. where he was a managing director, then later as a senior managing director at Bear Stearns & Co. Most recently, he was a senior vice president of Mizuho Corporate Bank, USA in New York. Post was an active outdoorsman with a great love of golf, skiing, boating, and tennis. At Colgate, he was a competitive swimmer, where he established several pool records and was elected team captain. After college, he swam in various Masters competitions. Throughout his life, he was an enthusiastic skier and a frequent visitor to Mad River Glen in Vermont. An accomplished golfer and avid tennis player, Mr. Post was a member of the Montclair Golf Club, Essex Fells Country Club and Bay Head Yacht Club. He was an active boater from early boyhood along the entire Atlantic coast, and held a commercial captains license. Mr. Post was also involved with numerous organizations. He served on the Alumni Council at Montclair Kimberley Academy and several alumni committees at Colgate University, where a scholarship is established in his name. He was also involved with several charitable organizations, notably Cystic Fibrosis. The Post family are longtime parishioners of First Presbyterian Church in Caldwell. With great spirit and enthusiasm and his wonderful sense of humor, Bob was a friend to countless others in his many circles.
