Margot Stephens, 84, died July 30th at her home in Seagrove. She was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, and lived in Vero Beach for 12 years. She earned a bachelor's degree from Hunter College of the City University of New York. She retired from McGraw-Hill Publishing, New York, N.Y. She was a member of the Tai Chi Club, Vero Beach, the Vero Beach Power Squadron, and the Vero Beach Yacht Club. She attended St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach. Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Dallas Stephens; son, Robert Leschhorn of Gerrards Cross, England; brother, Manuel Visbal of Vero Beach; stepdaughters, Jaye Smith of Houston and Sherralind Poehl of Brenham, Texas; and stepson, Allen Snow of Robstown, Texas. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice of Indian River County, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL. 32960. No services are are planned. Arrangements are by Thomas S.
