Thaddeus Dean Wilkins, 93 |
Thaddeus Dean Wilkins, 93, died July 1 at his home in John's Island. Wilkins, who came to Vero Beach in 1975, established Wilkins Brothers Inc. and Premier Island Properties, a real estate firm. He moved to John's Island in the 1980s and served on the Town Council of Indian River Shores. He was a former president of the Rotary Club, a 33rd degree Mason, a Paul Harris Fellow, and served on the board of Youth for Christ. Survivors include daughters, Cindy Rooker of Atlanta and Highlands, N.C., Lynn Hamilton of Atlanta and Abigail Babcock of Vero Beach and Stowe, Vt. A memorial service will be at Trinity Episcopal
Church in Vero Beach at 1 p.m. July 5. |
